Jesse Hollister

Jesse joined E&E in 2003 after completing a Bachelors at Sonoma State University. His background is in comparative physiology, but he was seduced by the dark-side of evolutionary genetics during his first year in the Ph.D. program. Jesse is currently assessing population genetic variation in transposable elements in Arabidopsis thaliana and congeners. Jesse also likes to climb rocks and walls, perhaps to emulate his childhood comic book hero, Spiderman.
Leah DeRose-Wilson

Leah earned her M.S. from Michigan State in 2004, after growing up in rural Ohio. She is currently studying population genetics in Arabidopsis lyrata.
